FormSync version 0.6 was just released into the wild!
The new version of FormSync includes a revamp of how Gravity Forms feeds are tracked. In prior versions, FormSync attempted to reconcile all form feeds solely via the JSON files. Tracking updates to forms only by way of the JSON files proved more complicated than originally expected, leading to issues like duplicate feeds. The new version of FormSync corrects those complications by improving the consistency with which FormSync can relate forms already saved in the database with the form’s JSON files.
The second most significant update in FormSync 0.6 is improved support for Gravity Forms form feeds. The folks at Gravity Forms were awesome enough to add a new action in Gravity Forms 2.4.12.3 that makes it much much easier to hook into the process of saving a feed. Additionally, the GravityFlow crew integrated this new hook on their side, making full compatibility with GravityFlow possible. Previously, FormSync had trouble with the GravityFlow start/complete steps, since they are created programmatically. With the addition of the new action hook, FormSync now supports those steps, thus offering full support for GravityFlow feeds!
